FIGURE #235 OF 236

Terri-Bull

Known in Japan as Buffaloman · Kinnikuman series

Terri-Bull is figure #235 of 236 in Mattel's 1985–88 M.U.S.C.L.E. line (Millions of Unusual Small Creatures Lurking Everywhere). The sculpt comes from the Kinnikuman manga and anime, where the character is known as Buffaloman — Mattel shipped the US line with no story at all, so localized names like “Terri-Bull” did the talking.

About this figure

Identifying the sculpt is straightforward once you know what to look for: standing, arms raised with clenched fists at both sides, large curved bull horns on head, snarling face, muscular bare torso, trunks, thick fur ankle boots. Like every genuine figure in the line, originals carry the “Y/S·N·T” foot stamp — a soft or missing stamp is the quickest way to spot a reproduction.

Terri-Bull is documented in 2 of the ten production colors (Flesh, Green). The flesh version books around $90 in mint condition, while the green run is the toughest to find and trades closer to $122. This is one of the line's grails: it was documented in only a handful of colors, and collectors routinely wait years for a clean example.
